There are two options available to you should you start with therapy:   Option A I am contracted to most medical aids and can send the claims directly to them for payment, at medical aid rates. There is no cost to the client unless the medical aid should reject the claim for whatever reason, then it remains the client’s responsibility to settle the account balance. During a medical aid claim submission, the therapist will have to include an ICD-10 code corresponding with a diagnosis, as per Health Regulations. Option B: Should you choose not to use your medical aid, I charge R1000 cash per session which must be paid in cash at the time of the appointment. Please note that no eft or card facilities are available.   Responsibility rests on the patient to determine medical aid benefits available for psychology treatment and should the medical aid be depleted/refuse payment, the patient remains responsible for the payment of the account. SHOULD THE MEDICAL AID NOT COVER PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES OR THE FUNDS ARE DEPLETED, OPTION B WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE IMPLEMENTED AND CLIENTS WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACCOUNT. Payment for each session is made at the time it is held. If an account has not been paid upon three payment reminders, I have the option of using legal means to secure the payment. (If such legal action is necessary, its costs will be included in the claim). ACCEPTED MEANS OF PAYMENT: Medical aid; Cash |
